TRAVELLING BY TRAIN:

The garden expo will run one free shuttle bus from 9:00am daily to meet and drop off visitors arriving by train at the Nambour station from all north and south routes. A specially set up ‘Expo Bus Stop’ will be located outside the entrance to the station and the bus will collect passengers approximately every 20 minutes from this Expo bus stop. This service is free! Upon boarding the bus you will receive a ‘return’ timetable showing you departure times of each train, this will ensure you do not miss your connection when traveling home. The Expo bus will drop you off at the main Nambour Showgrounds entrance gate and will depart from this same point for your return journey.

TRAVELLING BY BUS:

If you are traveling by a Sunbus service to Nambour there are a few alternatives for you to consider. You can get off at any Sunbus bus stop that is located in the central Nambour city area and await collection from our free Expo shuttle bus which will be roaming Nambour central every twenty minutes. This expo bus will take you directly to the Garden Expo. You may also wish to disembark at the Badminton Hall bus stop which is located directly in front of the Nambour Showgrounds. A short walk down the hill towards the High School will bring you to the main entrance gates at the showgrounds.

TRAVELLING BY CAR:

Two main exits off the Bruce Highway will lead you directly to the Garden Expo. Traveling south from Noosa you will take the Nambour/Bli Bli/Mudjimba exit and traveling north from Brisbane you will take the Nambour/Maroochydore exit (follow the Big Pineapple signage).

There are a number of areas in which you can park your vehicle. You may park in the Expo grounds (Nambour Showgrounds) for a daily cost of $7.00 per car. All proceeds from our car parking fees are donated direct to the local service clubs such as Lions (Woombye/Palmwoods), Rotary 76 Nambour, Rotary Mooloolaba, Nambour Apex, Local Bush Fire Brigades and so on. All monies raised from this activity are donated back to the community via these clubs. There is also other parking available in the streets around the Nambour Showgrounds, at the Nambour Primary School or in other designated areas as advertised.
