Fabulous Landscaped Gardens
The Landscaped Gardens this year will be outstanding! Some of the best designers and landscapers will be onsite to construct their very own full size garden for all visitors to marvel at! The Garden Expo Landscape Challenge competition will also be in full force with all landscapers and garden designers vying for Gold, Silver and Bronze Trophies and cash prizes.

The Giant Kitchen Garden
If you have always wanted to know how you can make a difference to the environment in your own back yard then The Giant Kitchen Garden is a feature you should not miss.
Incorporating a totally organic food court along with a fully planted sustainable garden constructed on site the Giant Kitchen Garden is always a hive of activity. A full program of lectures, demonstrations and workshops run on two stages in this area every day and there is a host of permaculture and organic gardening experts on hand to answer all your questions.

Floral Design and Garden Societies
You will be inspired by the fantastic floral arrangements in the Annual Floral Design Competition and Display. Organised by the Nambour Floral Art Group, the competition attracts some fantastic entries each year and members of the group are on hand to answer any questions you may have . If you are interested in entering the Floral Design Competition click on the link below to find out more. The Floral Design Competition is located upstairs in the Pavilion building just inside the Main Entrance.

More than 12 different garden societies and clubs will be showcasing their group’s activities with some fantastic displays and they will have representatives on site to answer your questions about their groups activities. (marquee at front entrance). Also not to be missed is the display of artworks by some of the Sunshine Coasts finest Botanical Artists (centre Oval Marquee).

Information and Advice
If you need some gardening advice, information or ideas The Queensland Home Garden Expo is the place to go. There is a full program of lectures and demonstrations on five “live” stages every day covering a vast array of gardening topics. The Question and Answer session held each day and hosted by a panel of gardening experts is always hugely popular. The Plant Clinic, centrally located near the nursery displays, is the place to go if you need some help with a gardening problem or help with identifying a plant. There is also a large number of Queensland Nursery and Garden Industry members on hand throughout the Expo to provide expert advice.

Fabulous Food, Fun and Entertainment
Enjoy the festival atmosphere of a great day out. There is a fabulous range of food on offer surrounded by lots of shaded seating areas . Be entertained by stilt walkers, musicians and street performers and soak up the atmosphere. There is also lots of free entertainment for the children, including a free children’s playground.
